AppScreenshots DocsExport screenshots
Deliver clean, correctly organized PNG screenshot files for review and store upload.
Export screenshots
The screenshot editor exports PNG images and ZIP packages containing PNGs. Review the design before exporting. Local export does not require a cloud save; sign in to save an editable cloud project for later.
The free plan includes local export. Batch Export All Languages requires Pro or Lifetime. Exporting does not publish an app: upload through the destination console, or prepare and review supported updates with Store Sync. Store review and release remain separate steps.
Pre-export checklist
Before opening Download, confirm the following:
- If you need a cloud copy, the header status is Saved, or you have just selected Save.
- The intended frame order and active language are correct.
- Each device contains a current, readable app screen—not a template placeholder.
- Headlines match approved product claims and every selected locale has been reviewed.
- There are no selected-element outlines, accidental overlaps, or cropped shadows at the export edge.
- The template or canvas is appropriate for the delivery destination; verify the current destination requirements in its store console.
Choose the right download option
| Download option | What you receive | Use it for |
|---|---|---|
| Current Frame | One PNG for the selected frame and active language | A fast visual review, one-off replacement, or a single approved image. |
| Current Language | A ZIP containing all frames for the active language | A normal single-market handoff. |
| Batch Export All Languages | One ZIP covering selected languages, arranged with separate folders or filename suffixes | A reviewed multi-market release. The product marks this feature for Pro/Lifetime access. |
The standard screenshot export uses the selected canvas dimensions at 1× output scale. Inspect the actual file dimensions after download. Device-frame size, website zoom, and canvas size are different settings; a good-looking preview alone does not establish store compliance.
Check Apple’s screenshot specifications and Google Play’s preview asset requirements before upload. Store requirements can change, and a device mockup is not a substitute for checking the final image file.
Export a single language
Select the language
In the header, switch to the language you are delivering. Inspect the full set once more in that language.
Open Download
Use Download in the editor header. Select Current Frame for one PNG, or Current Language to package all frames in a ZIP.
Inspect the extracted files
Unzip the package, open every file, and check frame count, order, dimensions, and text at 100% view. Keep the ZIP only after this check passes.
Export multiple languages
Use Batch Export All Languages after individual-language reviews are complete. Select the languages and choose the package format offered by the dialog:
- Separate folders keeps each locale together, such as
en/andja/. - Filename suffixes keeps files in one location and appends the locale code, such as
project-1_en.png.
Choose the format your uploader or delivery partner expects. Do not rename one file at a time after export unless the receiving system requires it; manual renaming is a common source of mixed-language uploads.
Quality-check the package before handoff
| Check | Pass condition |
|---|---|
| Count | Every expected frame and language is present exactly once. |
| Order | File order matches the approved storyboard. |
| Dimensions | Files match the destination’s currently required dimensions. |
| Content | Each headline is supported by the screen beneath it; no stale release UI remains. |
| Language | Folder, suffix, text, and product screen all refer to the same locale. |
| Readability | UI, type, and legal text remain legible in the final PNG, not only at editor zoom. |
Keep the source project, the approved ZIP, and a short delivery record. The next release should begin by duplicating the source project—not by editing an old exported PNG. Continue with Publish and maintain screenshot sets.
