Choose a target canvas
Apple requires the 13-inch screenshot group when an app runs on iPad. Choose an accepted size for that group; exporting both examples is not necessary. Check your app’s current slots before uploading.

How to resize an iPad screenshot without losing its layout
Capture the actual iPad interface
Use the tablet app or iPad simulator. A phone screenshot enlarged onto a tablet canvas does not demonstrate your tablet layout.
Preserve sidebars and split views
2064 × 2752 is preselected. Fit keeps the entire capture visible. For landscape, enter 2752 × 2064 under Custom Size with Maintain aspect ratio off.
Check the tablet composition
Inspect the preview for clipped toolbars, small text, and empty space. Resize, download, and review the result in your iPad listing slot.
Reframe before cropping a tablet screen
Tablet layouts often place useful content in several columns. Start with Fit, then use Free Crop only after deciding which panel tells the clearest story. Check every outer edge before export.
Match the screenshot orientation to the experience
Use landscape when your app’s main workflow is wide, such as a timeline or split workspace. Use portrait when the primary task reads vertically. Keep each exported image upright.
Frequently asked questions
What is the default iPad screenshot size?
2064 × 2752 pixels is selected when you upload an image. The iOS presets also include 2048 × 2732, another accepted portrait size in Apple’s 13-inch group.
Can I make a landscape iPad screenshot?
Yes. Enter 2752 × 2064 or 2732 × 2048 under Custom Size. Turn off Maintain aspect ratio to set both values exactly, and use Fit or Free Crop to inspect the composition.
Can I simply resize my iPhone screenshot for iPad?
You can change its dimensions, but the result still shows a phone interface. Use a real iPad capture when your listing needs to demonstrate tablet navigation or a different arrangement of content.
Is the iPad resizer free and private?
Yes. There is no account requirement for resizing or downloading. Your chosen screenshot is processed in your browser rather than sent to the resizer’s server.
